James and Liz’s DIY Farm Wedding

When Liz first contacted me and told me the details of the fabulous wedding she had planned, I had to cover the speakers on my phone so she couldn’t hear me squealing with excitement. You see Liz is an antique dealer and she had a vision. So this is how it went: Liz and James were married at the old Bodalla church which has to be one of the prettiest churches on the south coast. Followed by drinks and family photos at the Foxglove Spires Garden in Tilba Tilba which is the most beautiful garden ever, and then their wedding reception was on a fabulous family farm in Narooma inside a marquee that was decorated like nothing I’ve ever seen before. I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking but just thought I’d mention that the details in these photos are only half of what was there, and with the help of a few friends Liz did all of it by herself. This is the ultimate DIY wedding!

  1. REALLY beautiful work Nora, but of course credit has to go to James and Liz for creating a masterpiece wedding.

    Utter brilliance!

  2. Erm…where to start? LOVE the bouquets, love the way you captured the rainy day atmosphere, love the portraits, and then just when I thought I couldn’t love anything more, along came the decor. This is one of those weddings that makes me wish I’d shot it!
